Tungsten was added along with all the other natural resources of the Redpower2 mod because the creator, Eloraam, didn't want players to feel pressured to start a new map whenever she added new naturally generated content. While Tungsten currently has no practical purpose other than a serious source of EMC(exactly 2 diamonds worth/16,384), players should save any that they come across. Its occurrence is rare and it could have considerable value in future Redpower2 updates. According to the EMC value system used by the Equivalent Exchange mod, Tungsten has an EMC cost equivalent to 2 diamonds.

You can either convert it to 2 diamonds, or sit on it for the update. Stop blubbering!

Hmmm....the Tekkit plugin is taking down the whole server when it crashes....
It reboots with a stop error....not good...

Tell me about it, twice now I've lost diamonds because the world stays the same but your inventory resets to the last time you joined...

From my reading, I understand that there are certain things that can happen in Tekkit games if people design stuff incorrectly that can lead to crashes from information overload - sloppy wiring chief among them.

If the server needs any upgrade parts, let us know! I'm certainly willing to chip in to try and get this thing stable. I had some major doubts about the mod when starting, but I'm a full convert now - I love this thing.

Tekkit still runs on Minecraft 1.2.5 so none of the vanilla 1.3 bugs should apply.
