Oddly enough, and this reflects poorly on my culture, but the anti-freeze comment is pretty accurate

the germans feared us the most in WWI
After many years of procrastination, I broke down and bought a not too well known, science fiction adventure film from the early 1980's.
I thought it merited a review. It is titled:
Loosely based on the first few years of the 1930's comic strip of the same name, Flash Gordon follows the adventures of the title character as he is hurled across the void of space and thrust into the role of saviour of humanity, and liberator of the galaxy. An international cast including Max von Sydow as Ming the Merciless, Brian Blessed as Prince Vultan, Timothy Dalton as Prince Barin, Ornella Muti as Princess Aura, Topal as Dr. Hanz Zarkov, Peter Wyngarde as Klytus, Melody Anderson as Dale Arden, and Sam J. Jones as Flash.
Probably the most distinctive feature of this film is the soundtrack, written and performed by Queen.
Needless to say, this film has: airplane crashes, mad scientists, rocket ships, action, suspense, slave girls in jeweled bikinis, professional sports references, capital punishment, resurrection, telepathy, love potions, torture, dramatic irony, brain washing, betrayal, tests of courage, floating palaces, gladiatorial combat, redemption, all female pillow fight, revolt, rocketcycles, aerial combat, laser gun battles, magic rings, explosions (large and small), hawk men, lizard men, wood beasts, and ... (big finish)...midgets!
Flash Gordon Theatrical Trailer
Afun, action packed, film that is suitable for teens and up (some of us never matured beyond that mark anyway). I give it two bore worms up!
For a more in-depth, Ville style, discussion and celebration of this cult classic, visit The Ville's Official Flash Gordon thread, credited to our own Agent X (you know, the fellow with the hypnotic avatar, ).

I'm truly sorry you don't enjoy films such as this, but there's no need to go "trolling." I can understand your frustration though, since you have expressed similar sentiment in the past:[quote="!B a T m A n!";p="118536"]

I recently saw a Wesley Snipes/Jasan Statham film titled Chaos, expecting a run of the mill action movie with lots of guns and explosions. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was more of a cop drama with a decent story. Some of the characters were a little cliche, and I saw the ending coming from about a third of the way in (I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway), but I would still recommend it.
'You might not have the intelligent to find it so i'll queto it for you' - Some guy trying to insult me on the Steam boards

That is because most of their people were americans that were ready to kill again since it had been like 30 years since our last war. Thats why they "fear" you havent you ever watched Legends of the Fall. It tells you all you need to know about that statement.
