New Monitor

Post by BlackHawk » Fri Jun 06, 2008 1:22 pm

So I finally got a flat screen lcd monitor. I had this nice top of the line computer with a 8 year old monitor until yesterday. I had to get it because I needed to be able to use it also as a karaoke monitor when I am at work on Tuesdays. This is where I turned out to be stupid. I only thought of my desktop when getting it. Don't get me wrong, it is nice having a 20'' lcd screen, until I have to take it to the bar. Talk about over kill. I was using a 13'' tv that my boss provided me

While it may be overkill, your karaoke patrons likely appreciate it. The larger and easier to read it is, the more they can get in to their songs, and not have to lean forward squinting at the screen. While I'm not exactly a karaoke fan, I've performed it on things ranging from a 13 inch to a 42 inch screen, and the bigger ones were always nice.

Besides, having a big computer monitor is fun :-) 24" LCD widescreen here.

If you can find one of sony's discontinued projection lcd's you should be able to get a deal. They stopped making em a few months ago. My dad bought a 60 incher for dirt cheap.
