Sup guys,
Something I've wanted to do for a long time....
How do you get the sig to show a random image Like Torven's?
I have a ton of old sigs. It'd be cool if I could use a bunch of em.
Random sigs?
Re: Random sigs?
Probably the same way the server sigs work.
Also, you should make me a sig

Re: Random sigs?
dont remember what torvens looks like offhand. but do you mean a sig where the sig image is a different one every refresh?
its pretty easy, i do it on other forums, a simple random rotating php .script. i wrote a tut on it a while back: http://archon.themainz.net/page.php?id=7
btw, phpbb by default doesnt allow non-image file types used as sigs, tho i think it can be enabled. if it doesnt work here, rename the php to index.php and rename the sig directory sig.gif or something and link to the directory. that will trick phpbb that its an image

lol
upload all the sig images you want to use to a seperate directory on your hosting (host must support php). copy/paste the code into a txt file, save and rename to sig.php. upload in same directory as images. then when adding sig to your profile, put the php file ing the img tags.
