Custom x-hairs?

Are they allowed these days? The default ones pretty are much invisible to me... be nice if they were bright green or white.

Anywhere I can get some custom ones? I havent played TFC in so long the only place i could think of was:

and i put them: team fortress classic\tfc\sprites

but they didnt look right... had a goofy grey box behind the actual x-hair

The site I used is no longer working. : ( but here are some others I found. Yes the do go in your sprites folder.

The one above has lots, if you look to the left under Half-Life there are 8 pages of CH

the goofy grey box is a problem with their color table when they converted them.. they didn't make sure the last color was set right so the transparency is wrong

I always just use the default ones turned red. iirc its called oxhairs.zip.

Cool I did a search for oxhairs.zip and didnt get anywhere so I used one of sets from Bullseyes site..
