Recorded demo files not playing

OK, so, does anyone else here have some relatively old TF2 demos in their directory?

The reason I ask is because when I try to play any of my demos now, none will work. They will load, but refuse to actually play. My most recent demo videos were from the Kilaak Invasion, just a few weeks ago.

So my question is, if you have some demos you've recorded a month or more ago, do me a favor and see if they will play for you. I don't know if some update to the engine is messing with older demo files, but my CSS ones (some of which are over a year old) all work, so it seems localized to TF2 ones. Perhaps mine are just corrupt.

Anyway, let me know what you guys find out.

dpeends wat map it was on ...on CSS if u demo on those cube maps the demos wont play so it could be that

I've got CSS demos from default and custom maps, and they all work.

My TF2 ones are all defaults. Dustbowl, 2Fort, and Gravelpit to be exact.
