I agree, even I like to hear another woman's voice that isn't telling me I'm a failure. (LORD knows I got enough of that in my head . . . "Are you my conscience?"~Finding Nemo.)

Thanks for liking my voice, I could sound like a bar hag, I suppose! LOL! ROFL!

Just wanted to post a quick reply. I'm new to this community and all (This is my very first post, I'm getting a little teary eyed actually) but I am amazed at the great attitude everyone has in that everyone genuinely wants to have fun. I know DS, iOwn, crazyhobo, and many others on the list in the first post really made me feel welcome and made playing about 10 times more fun. I actually didn't know how to work the friends list in steam, or that I even had a friends list in the first place, until I got a friend invite from you all. I had stopped playing multiplayer FPS games a long time ago because the attitudes of most of the players were extremely competitive and people were quick to throw insults and a better than you attitude around, but on all the ville servers I've seen people just having fun and people going out of their way to make others feel good. It's extremely refreshing and greatly appreciated. If any of you ever come my way I'm buying ya a round, it's the least I can do. Thanks again DS, you're the man!

I guess I will piggyback on this thread and make a thank you of my own.

Before I played TF2, I used to play World Of Warcraft, and I'm not talking casually. I played hardcore and raiding many nights and several hours. I logged into serious playing time. It became a chore. Some of the people I played with we're complete jerks and overall the game degraded into another job. I was yelled at for playing that game for making mistakes, and I mean curses and the whole thing. It was a nightmare at one point. The game took a lot for me to put it down.

One of my friends recommended I start playing TF2. I came across this server and thought it might be good. What a good decision that was!

I played on several of servers, and eventually came loved it. The people were great and I really enjoyed playing here.

There are people I would like to thank **gets his paper out**

Diarmad: Always greeting me whenever I come on the server, always happy and pleased. Loves to kid around. I missed that with my gaming and you brought it back. It meant a lot to me. I'm glad games are fun again, and you are a big part of it.

DeathStryker: You always talk.. and THAT IS GREAT! I enjoy your ravings and your support during the game. A dead quiet is a very boring game. Part of the game is actually the social part and you make a great person to talk with. You are also very skilled, and I always fear you when I'm against you and love it when you are with me. You always cheer for the underdog, making the game even.

BuzzyBeetle: You made me feel at home on the forums. You sent a message to me right away to greet me to the forums. You are technically the first ville regular I met. You left me a great impression and me feel very welcome to the server. I am thankful you are there! I always enjoy hearing your voice whenever I play.

IOwn: Doesn't have a mic, but I am always glad to see you on the list on the server. Always an exciting challenge to play with you. Love your comments whenever we play. Also, you do a great job of enforcing the rules (This thanks spreads to all the others, like the admins). You make sure the server doesn't degrade into a mess. I remember ventrilo on World of Warcraft. There was racial slurs and constant swearing. It all became too much. I enjoy a more civilized approach!

TheCarpe: I remember you first using the axe. Out of no where, I remember seeing a pyro with an axe come to me. I thought, what is this guy thinking?!!? Well lo and behold, he actually chopped me down with a mighty blow! Your thinking out of box makes this game much more fun! I love watching new people's horrified faces when this pyro with an axe chops them down! I love seeing you online and playing with you.

Finally, this a thanks to all those who make the servers great, that I have not mentioned. No one here listed is better or worse than anyone else. Everyone offers something to make this place great. I recognize your efforts into making these servers a wonderful place to socialize and play. Like I said before, its great that games are fun once again!

Good to have you here. I actually played Everquest probably as much as you played WoW a few years ago (I quit after I saw that I had 93 days of total time played on my main...not counting my twinks lol) I really enjoy it on here cause of all the fun people, and its nice to see you on the servers more and more Yahoo ;-)
