I Have 2 issues I need help with. The main one is that I need a good free DVD ripper. Right now I am using Movie2x to rip DVDs. I don't need to worry about encryption/copy protection, as they are music videos from Promo Only (A company that makes dvds and cds for DJs), and are set up so DJs can rip them. Problem is it cause the music and video to be slightly off with Movie2x when ripped.
Part 2 - I have already ripped a lot of them, so I need a program that I can use to edit the sound so that I can re-sync it to the video on the ones that are really off. I have them ripped in AVI format (Standard and Divx, depending on which machine ripped them) Any suggestions?

I know you could do that with Windows Movie Maker, but it's encoding options are quite lacking, like what type to save it as and what not.
See if you can get a trial of Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas to edit the videos.
Although It would be alot of work to do that because it would have to re-encode the videos, not to mention you would have to sync it up. It might be faster to rip them all again with a program that rips them properly.

Problem is, there are 3 of us in the company that use the videos, so once they are ripped it could take me weeks to be the masters back to re rip them, as I am the only one who uses a digital program rather than a hardware DVD mixer

Then I guess you could try to resync the audio yourself with a video editor.
