howdie i was just wondering wen it comes to quad core is there 4 individual cores or is it two cores divided? i kno these questions sound dumb but im just wondering.

As far as I know, a quad-core processor would have 4 individual cores on 1 (die) chip.

Yes, Regis is correct.

A Quad-Core is just two Core 2 Duo's on one die.
