I am on the guitar battle vs. Lou. I thought there was one more set to go after that... I guess not. Set 7 was the worst. I am not into that heavy of music, so I was just trying to get through it but Cult of Personality was fun. My wife was like wth are you playing

Well I'm on the dreaded set seven again, on medium this time. I am playing Knights of Cydonia and OMG this is by far the hardest song I have gotten to. I can't imagine going through it on any other level. I am having to actually learn the song and practice the triplets.

The arpeggio's are keyboards though... the guitar player doesn't play those.

I picked it up a few days ago, having never played a previous GH, and I'm enjoying it. My favorites to play are probably Story of My Life, Miss Murder, Cliffs of Dover, The Metal, and Talk Dirty to Me. Knights of Cydonia is an awesome song, but as someone else mentioned above, it's a bear to play.

I played against a friend online last night who can play on Hard. &#@$! How do you hit all those notes in such rapid succession!? And change notes so quickly??

I just started Medium, but I think I'm going to need quite a bit more practice before I move up a level.

i borrowed it from a friend for a few days, and even with a broken red button that decided when it wanted to work i beat it on medium and got past tom morello on hard. then decided to go back and try to 5 star the mediums and got to the last set before i had to stop... as my thumb was going numb and in fact still is slightly numb... nerve damage. gah! i did get 100% on evenflow on medium though, which got his gamer achievement for a 500 note streak. really wish i owned it, but he took it back last night,

in a seperate story one of our friends, which is a 14 year old son of a guy my brother in law works with was battling a guy on the dragonforce song the other night... and he beat him so badly that the guy quit as soon as the song was over. then the achievement popped up on the screen to beat one of the developers of the game. hahahah

Very good song sets, but I am with you Hamese, I did not care much for set 7 at all.

Better music? I love over 75% of the songs they included. I couldn't believe they had Mountains' Mississippi Queen and then they had Qypsy Queen at the tale end of Black Magic Woman.

Like I said Set 7 = bad. However, I did try to play the Knights of Cydonia and that is tough and has some good triplets in it.

...but yeah, really the only really good one .

Cliffs of Dover is another great song, but it really seems too upbeat to be in Set 8, doesn't it?
