Re: StoveVille Discussion
Agree. I think since Stoveville has been online only 1 request to not sleep has been made (which was accommodated)

With a great crowd of 10 players we decided it was time to put an end to the ender dragon. The dragon is gone now, but can be resummoned if anyone really wants to. Thanks to all the folks who participated!

Re: StoveVille Discussion
It would also free up afkers a bit as well since it can be a pain to have 1 or 2 afking at a farm to muck up the sleep of everyone else (esp if there is only 1 more person on the server).

Re: StoveVille Discussion
I agree with Tater, with the understanding....cuz Duke/FlZlX & SweetDilla had ask a couple times for a project that they were working on required a night setting...that if there is a request to not sleep specifically that we could honour that for about 3 rotations or an agreed upon limit? Everyone who was on seemed very cooperative with that. We rarely need it to stay night and when we do...most folks oblige willingly. Our group all vote for a lower % than is currently set.

Re: StoveVille Discussion
I set "gamerule playerssleepingpercentage" to "1" which should allow the night to pass if 1% of the players are sleeping. In effect, if 1 player is sleeping. Server Ops can certainly override this if desired and server reboots might do so automatically. We'll see.

Re: StoveVille Discussion
Truth, which is why i usually get in on the sleeping action every few nights or so. If that is an issue for folks who like the low sleep number but don't like the phantoms, they can say they need to be the ones to hit the bed if there are a bunch of folks on the server. Also if phantoms have spawned, it is pretty deep into the night already so they should be golden to hit their bed which kills 2 birds with 1 stone (yes, pun intended). But you bring up a good point as well as another reason why those stupid things are such a ill conceived annoyance...

Haha, I forgot about that part. It hit me originally when we dropped to 50%!

Changing the subject.
@BossLlama - I wanted to let Boss Llama know I still have his sponges in reserve whenever he is on again.

Re: StoveVille Discussion
Thanks for the heads-up Duke
I'm on Minecraft irregularly enough (Skyrim claiming a lot of my attention of late!) that I think it'd be fair to say you can keep them
You'll do far more for the server with them than I'm likely to!

Re: StoveVille Discussion
Thank you muchly. I returned your shulker (thank you so much for all the stone!) next to your death recovery bed.
For the most part, the castle is done. I still need to do some interior rooms and such but needed a break. Anyone is free to visit if they like.
