Re: Random Video Game Music
Ok, so it's been five years. I can say with certainty though that my love for all things video game music hasn't really changed, and in the past five years we've sure had some great songs from many great sources. If you promise you won't be annoyed by the fact that i'm necroing a five year old thread that 80% of the posts are my own to begin with, here's a few songs from recent years that I've found.
At some point I should go through and fix all the broken video links. I think a majority of the channels I got the songs from were banned over the years.
CrossCode: S-Rank Battle
20XX: Spark Engine
A Hat in Time (Seal the Deal): Rhythm Jump Studio (which takes a major cue from Beep Block Skyway)
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night: Voyage of Promise
Iconoclasts: Duel (Vs Silver Watchman)
Shantae Half-Genie Hero: Barrel-o-Mermaids
Timespinner: Uncertain Hope
Touhou Luna Nights: Lunar Clock ~ Lunar Dial (Stage 1)
The Wonderful 101: Tables Turn (Wonderful Live)
Blaster Master Zero: Area 1 "Forest"
River City Girls: Boss - Abobo
Lethal League Blaze: Ain't Nothin' like a Funky Beat
Hollow Knight: Queen's Gardens

Re: Random Video Game Music
I recently found this game called CrossCode. I posted a song from the game about a month ago but honestly the whole soundtrack is phenomenal. Another example of indie games having some of the best music in the business. Here's a few more songs from the game, and I also recommend playing it if you like action RPGs. It's like a Zelda game with a talent tree leveling system and a cool story to go along with it.
Fierce Battle
Awakening
Boss Battle
The Path of Justice
Autumn's Rise
Bergen Trail
Temple of the Valley
Raid
The Experience
Vermillion Wasteland
Battle 3
Infiltration
Temple of the Lake
Shizuka
Arena Lobby
Fierce Battle

Re: Random Video Game Music
How about something completely different?
Normally i'm posting my favorites, songs from games i'm currently playing or songs i've stumbled on. How about this time we showcase some of the worst songs in gaming. Songs that are bad enough to be pretty well known and not exactly just audio vomit. How about it, here's a sample of some bad music; some of it is so bad, it's good.
You may want to turn down the volume on some of these. Some may actually hurt to listen to.
Resident Evil Director's Cut - Mansion Basement
Spider-Man 2 - Pizza theme
Sonic Spinball - Options menu
DOOM (32X) - At Doom's Gate
1942 (NES) - Stage Theme
Back to the Future (NES) - Stage Theme
Street Fighter 1 - Sagat Theme
Final Fantasy X-2 - Chocobo Theme
Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer - Lyle and Lottie's Theme
Double Dribble - The Star Spangled Banner
Sonic Unleashed - E-Rank Results (this song is intentionally bad, where as the rest are still up for debate...)
