Looks like on May 6th there will be some information revealed about the next battlefield title at a livestream event.

A lot of rumors around what era this next title will be set in, WWI, WWII, near future, far future. I'm leaning towards the idea that they are going future-ish, something akin to 2142.

Video highlighting some BF1 game mechanics. I'm glad they removed commander mode, it was rare to see it used efficiently. Being able to mark a flag via comm rose is great, hated having to look at the flag before I could set orders.

Gamescom gameplay trailer. Looks like the beta will be a different map then the closed alpha. This time around it will be the Sinai Desert map. Get to see some sweet horse action in a sand storm.
