As it is midseason in the Premier League, I have decided to start the Fantasy action now (better late then never!). I am using ESPN's English Premier League format which can be found here: http://games.espn.go.com/premier-fantasy/2015/en/game.

The objective is to assemble a 15-man roster while staying under the salary cap and accumulate the most points according to the scoring system. Salary cap is 100 million and each players assessed value can rise or fall as the season progresses, meaning that you can buy low and sell high.

Scoring is as followed:
Games Played = 1 point
Play 60 Minutes = 2 points
Defender/Goalkeeper Goal = 8 points
Midfielder Goal = 6 points
Forward Goal = 4 points
Assist = 3 points
Defender/Goalkeeper Clean Sheet = 4 points
Midfielder Clean Sheet = 1 point
Saves = 1 point per 3 saves
Penalty Save = 5 points
Penalty Shot Miss = -3 points
Goals Conceded by Goalkeeper/Defender = -1 point per 2 goals
Yellow Card = -1 point
Red Card = -3 points
Own Goal = -3 points

The scoring is table style based off points, so you don't go head to head with anyone but yourself. This is mainly for bragging rights, but I'll more than likely toss a prize in as I usually do.

Yup! That's the one. Calvinball is distinguished by the fact that they don't need to fake contact - they just slam each other

Basically, what you do is you use your budget to "buy" players for your various positions (I simply used the stats from the first half of the season to pick people, since I know next to nothing about them individually). You need to fill out your roster so all slots are filled, while remaining at or under your maximum budget. If players do well and their value goes up over the season, you get to add their increased value to your budget. If they do poorly and value drops, you lose that from your total budget. Most points at the end of the season wins.
