It has gotten to the point where I expect disaster out of almost everything on the server. Chicken farm? Server crash. Low Orbit Ion Cannon in construction? Repeated server crash. FIRING the damn thing? Server obliteration, so horrible that server erases itself from time.
Watch as I work my GYPSY MAGIC, eye of a newt and cinnamon. Watch as the matter turns to batter open the portal jump in.

If only I had a way of automatically killing the chickens to ensure they never get out of hand....
I think I'm going to make a couple more public ages since I've found out you can stack features by adding in a symbol multiple times (sometimes this creates instability though) so if anyone has any public age requests I'd appreciate them.
Also I just read that the next mystcraft update added in link page functionality that was lost because the author removed the link modifier which includes intra-dimensional linking and books that follow you when you use them.

Alright Good news and Bad news:
Good news is I think I've found out the source of "age crashes" when an age is loading a ton of new chunks (like your in an ironman suit and trying to find new pages) and the age it's loading has a lot of features like tendrils, caves, glowstone, etc. The server will be strained and then sometimes crash, there's no real warning either so if you traveling for a feature rich age make sure not to run around too much.
Bad news is the server is down again :/

Hi, I was a previously white-listed member to the tekkit server. Would I be able to be rewhite-listed?
I'm also friends with Jagger. (he's right beside me right now).

So guys I've mentioned this to a few of you but I want to run a hardcore event on the tekkit server using the age system. Basically I'd throw you in the big gate portal in the open age area without any items and everyone would be tasked with surviving long enough to figure out a way to come back home with a linking book to the age as proof. The event would have any set time frame, you basically would be transported to the age and the event would end for you if you either die or escape.
I already have prizes lined up for the first 5 survivors.
However I'm wondering 2 things.
1. Can I be given something called a "Link Modifier" it's an item in Mystcraft that lets you modify linking books to add functionality like "disarm" to prevent people from smuggling items in or "following" to let me have a linking book that follows me so I can do a second thing. However the recipe got removed as this functionality is being changed to another system in another update..... that isn't in the current build which kinda makes me sad.
2. I'm wondering if I can use the server's "the end" for this. I don't think the dragon has been slain yet and I have found a stronghold. It could serve as a good climatic finish to the event.

-There seem to be nuclear reactors
-Pocket dimensions are much creepier.... X.X THE EYES THE EYES!!!
