Votlz is fun but in my humble experience, you have a 99% bigger chance of crashing the server with Voltz compared to FTB or Tekkit. Those Red Matter Bombs are just crazy...

Hey, what happened to the tekkit server? Last night I just couldn't log into it, now it seems the entire server is gone. It's even gone off the portal. Anyone know what happened?

It looks like it crashed at some point last night. Give it a try now.

i think the tekkit server's down again. I dont know, it might just be me.

EDIT: Are the Minecraft severs located in Chilliwack? Because I know Dog is from Chilliwack and we're having a major lightning storm out here.

Nope. They are not in the Wack.
They are located in the US.

Tekkit server appears to be running fine.

There are a couple things known to crash the server if your not careful like harvesting one of my huge trees in one of my ages with a diamond axe but I think we quickly learn what not to do and avoid it in the future... like as I discovered don't create a lava world and pump all the lava from it and use it to make power apparently the lava movement causes server instability.

I had a bit too much bovine excellence going on yesterday. Was near unplayable with a pen filled with cows. Eventually I was able to kill enough to restore order to the area.

Hmm in that case I might hook up the remaining engines to a tesserack teleporting lava from that world so it can stack on top of my current set-up

We're doing our best to sort out the crashing issue... enough different things can (but don't always) cause it, that it's hard to pin down.

Just from past experience, I'd say be very careful with anything that involves loops or cross-wiring. Too many crossed power lines or or looped item feeds can cause instability or crashes - best to keep everything going in a single straight line. Server was running very slowly tonight, for several hours, and resetting didn't help. Something is grinding it; whether it's loops, or keeping several dimensions simultaneously loaded and teleportation stuff working, or something else I don't know.
