That's why I ditched mine in my White 1 copy. I plan on doing the same in White 2.

I'm thinking of using some of the following, but I'm not entirely set on anything yet:
- Lucario
- Arcanine
- Excadrill
- Flygon
- Eelektross
- Sawsbuck
- Haxorus

No real explanation for any of them. I just like those ones. I might need to get a Water-type at some point. If I need one, I think I'll pick either Jellicent or Vaporeon.

I only understood Arcanine.

I'm tempted, but I still haven't bothered with Black/White 1, 5th gen didn't appeal to me for some reason.

Picked up Black 2 and linked it with Black. So far the only extra things I've seen is random people giving you exposition of the previous game.

Did they give Gen 5 Arcanine more abilities? I tried to level one in Gen 4 but found that he didn't learn a damn thing until level 25-30.

Unfortunately, the best physical Fire move Growlithe gets before Flare Blitz at 45 is Flame Wheel, at level 17. But, it also learns Crunch and Outrage by level up, and Wild Charge by TM if you like physical Electric with recoil. (I put the Shell Bell on mine, so I can recover part of the HP lost from Flare Blitz). If you can deal with raising a Growlithe that far, I'd recommend that.

I wouldn't recommend Magby, because to evolve Magmar into Magmortar, you need to trade. On the plus side if you do though, Magmortar learns Thunderbolt.

My Googleing skills failed me. Do you know if it's possible to trade a Magmar from Black 2 to Black 1 and then back without having beat the Elite Four?

Just got to the Desert Resort.

Current team:

Dewott
Elekid
Lucario

Double ground weaknesses haven't killed me yet, but I'm sure they will sometime. Caught a Sandile and I'm considering using that. Then again once I beat the Elite Four and get done with all the "story" stuff I'm gonna bring on my real team.

Black and White 1 and 2 are on the DS. Weird that they didn't go for a 3DS release because that would have been enough of a reason for me to get one.

Alright well i am trying to decide what i want on my team for battling my friends. I want to run a sweep team with some added surprises.

Lead - ???
Sp Atk - Probably Gengar
Phs Atk - Probably Slaking
Phs Atk - probably Rhyperior
Wall Breaker - ???
Tank - probably Shuckle or Steelix

Advice?
