Steam Verification Code email issue

Hey guys and gals!

Hope all is well with the purple place!

So I decided to dust off my steam account and log in to play some old games..

Steam asked me for a Verfication Code. They state they emailed a verification code to the email account attached to the user id.

When I log into my email there is no email.. (yep I am sure its the right email account)

I have done the followiing..

1) Added the Steam website to trusted sites on browser
2) Added Steam's support email to my email account allowed section
3) checked my spam folder
4) submitted a ticket to steam over 24 hours ago to see if they can help




I was logging in here to see if I could find my steam id but it has been so long it appears its not on my avatar anymore.

Any thoughts?

Hey Nuckin - not sure what's up with your email issue, but your Steam ID is STEAM_0:0:10201715

Even knowing that it is that specific email address, have you tried any others you might have?

Yeah I did just in case it was old age. No luck in any of the email account from new to old.

My dad had this very same problem!
But when I asked him, he couldn't remember how he had resolved it
Sorry to hear you're having the same issue though, it sure was frustrating for my old man.

Tis a bummer.. I will sit and wait for steam to answer my support ticket I suppose

Ive had this happen to me when the steam servers are overrun with traffic, like during a steam sale. I just had to be patient and wait for it to show up.
