Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Hearing no other suggestions and no objections, let's plan on taking up Flash's idea of seeding TV2 Wednesday at 9PM VST.
An event will be posted to the customs seeding group, which I again encourage everyone hankering to play something other than dustbowl or warpath for a change to join!

I do not think I can post events to the Ville Seed Team if someone could do that for us, but I can to the Ville Steam Group and will do so tonight.
Open question if we can try any of Supreveio's map suggestions? I personally am tired of most of the current V2 rotation so new maps would be fantastic, IMHO.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
The first TV2 seeding attempt in quite a while is an exceptional success.
Perhaps next week we can test out a couple of maps. I don't know about you guys, but I think Desert Fortress should probably be taken off the rotation, especially given that the rounds took like 20 minutes each and they both ended in a Stalemate.

"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"

I would agree, plus half of the allure is playing new maps. There are lots of to choose from on the server....plus those new ones you mentioned before supreveio look pretty interesting.Supreveio wrote:The first TV2 seeding attempt in quite a while is an exceptional success.

I agree, shorter maps perhaps, a bit less stalematey would be more fun. And throw some cool new ones in there like blackmesa! That map is a blast.

Yes! Thanks to everyone who turned out! Also big thanks to everyone who dropped gift bombs on the server, you'll be expected to repeat that every week now!Supreveio wrote:The first TV2 seeding attempt in quite a while is an exceptional success.
I hope so!Supreveio wrote: Perhaps next week we can test out a couple of maps. I don't know about you guys, but I think Desert Fortress should probably be taken off the rotation, especially given that the rounds took like 20 minutes each and they both ended in a Stalemate.
Since this date/time worked so well, let's plan on repeating it next week, same Ville time and same Ville channel!
Note this does not mean we can't do it again another night, so if people have another date in mind we can try again at another period.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Tonight was a total blast for me. Thanks to everyone who came out.
I liked the new maps.
If people are going to keep requesting Wacky Races or Balloon Races, it's be nice to see them balanced a bit more. It's too easy for one team to get an insurmountable lead. Maybe more foot paths through the walls and more hazards for the leading team?
And as I mentioned in chat, I'd really like to have a PropHunt event.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
I'm sorry, i'm not paying sixty bucks for gift piles every week to seed TV2, you better start paying me if you want that to happen on a regular basis.
But yeah, fun times. Fun times indeed.
Wacky Races and Balloon Race weren't made by our guys, I don't think we can modify them to add extra shortcuts. Besides, lodging myself under the bridge as a spy seemed to work quite well in giving my team the advantage.

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.
