I really don't like the things some areas of the business are doing. EA, Ubisoft, and Blizzard are all on my no-buy list.

I write software for a living and honestly you guys if you want these companies to stop doing annoying things the only thing that will work is to *stop buying their product*. When the dollars stop rolling in, they make changes.

I was on dialup back then, and they came out with Steam and forced you to re-download all your games associated with your keys. Took me almost a month. Was super cool being @#$#ed like that.

Yup! I hated Steam with a passion, and ya know what? I still hate Steam. I do use it though because they have great sales, darn them! It took me over 2 years though, after buying Orange Box, to allow myself to purchase anything else on Steam for any reason. When I finally did break down and buy something, it was Dragon Age Origins, which is a definite contender for my favorite game of all time, so I tell myself it was worth it
