video card troubles

I have been getting back into Oblivion these past couple of days and when i first bought it it worked perfectly fine but now on the graphics u see flashing green and purple and i want to get rid of it. I have updated my drivers (hopefully i did it right, i just downloaded it from their site and i don't think i have to do anything else) and i also played around witht the graphics and nothing seems to help or maybe im just putting them too high. Like i said it worked perfectly fine when i first bought it.

Anyways a help would be much appreicatied

video card make and model may help. Where did you get the drivers.
