Updated Rigges is Out of the Hospital & healing

Hello all

I have been admitted to Battle Creek VA hospital Michigan.

I have a skin infection to my left leg. Also I got the tip of my finger cut off by a wheel chair here at the hospital great come here for treatment and loos a finger. OH we thought I had a blood clot in the leg but it seems that I do not.

I was very sick Wed and all my Pain points were clicking off at 10's + then Thur my leg swollen up more than it has ever and got real red by late Thur night. We thought it was from a blood clot but it is a epedurmans skin infection. So the thought is that I had the infection for a while but my body had been keeping it in check then what ever happened to me Wed caused it to go hay wire leg feels like it is sun burned it is warm and red and a bit splotchy.

It hurts a good bit and they have me on an introvinues Antibiotics infusing every 4 hours.

Hope your day is going well Not sure when I can check my e-mail again.

I have access to enternet a little bit on a beat up Dell in the wards day room.

No TF2 for a week or so.

I am sorry to hear that Rigges. Epidermis can be very painful and I definitely feel for you. Hopefully you have a good crew looking after you and I wish you the best. Our thoughts are with you!

Get well soon Rigges. If I have any advice with healthcare is ask a ton of questions about everything, things are less likely to go wrong and if they do, you have ammunition because you're in the know. It can be sort of a @#%^ show, I'm sorry you have to deal with it and hope it's out of your life soon.
