Can those info bubbles be removed?
Can those annoying info bubbles that pop up when you start the game (since the last time you played we put in training, etc.) be removed?

They haven't shown up for me since the first time I played and read them. Not sure why they'd keep happening...

Ah, it was because my config.cfg was set to 'read only'.

I think you have to click through all of them before they go away forever.

Re: Can those info bubbles be removed?
If you're referring to those "Capture the intelligence" bubbles that stay on the screen for like 3 minutes at the start of the round then there's a way to fix that.
Navigate to your Steam\steamapps\YourAccountName\team fortress 2\tf\media directory. Find the viewed.res file.
Open that file with Notepad.
There is a "viewed" line after each map name, and a number in quotation marks. Change the number in quotation marks to 50 or greater.
The game will then stop giving you the round-start hints.
You will have to do this again if you download a new map.

Pretty sure he's referring to the little pop-ups that came with the new menu that pointed out where everything is. You can see an example of them if you press the "?" button in your character setup.

Yes, those. And they still won't go away when I open my pack.TheCarpe wrote:Pretty sure he's referring to the little pop-ups that came with the new menu that pointed out where everything is. You can see an example of them if you press the "?" button in your character setup.
