Re: Starcraft 2
Oh my gwad.... that is the funniest misspost ever.
anyways... DD, as a zerg player I mostly see 2 things from T. Bio balls (MMM) or tech. And now players are playing with a hybrid of the two.
MMM stands for Marine, Maurader, and Medivac. This is a very powerful thing. However, doing a drop in an enemy base vs an eyefull player like mine will give me an easy win. The second is tech which usually includes tanks and vikings. Now you're seeing a lot of mix such as MMM with tanks thrown in.
But for more info just see what unsmart and the other guys' linked!

your average newcomer to starcraft will not understand a lick of that spreadsheet. I understand it and I haven't played the game, but most people will be like "OMG EPIC SPREADSHEET OF DOOM!!!!!!""

Eater of Potatoes, since 2008.
I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.

I think it mightn't been you but I'm not sure.
The main things people are probably going to look for are the first 2 columns.. Just need to see what each unit is strong or weak against.
All that other stuff is just specific stats

Are you using hotkeys or are you actually clicking everything?Kahlan Amnell wrote:I think I click to slow... oy. Because clicking is a very bad habit.

Nice iOwn, found those really useful. I haven't gotten a chance to play for two days, but if anyone wants to do a 1 v 1 or even 2 v 2 custom game today/in the future let me know. I can't promise any competition but you'll be helping me learn.

I got like the next 6 days off of work (damn slow season). Trying to get friends to go out of town with me, but likely will just be playing. Hit me up on steam, just because I'm not in-game doesn't mean I don't feel like playing.

Pages for some of the newer players that might help with some of the phrases many may use in starcraft:

Re: Starcraft 2
DD, we could always do like 2v2comp while on TS if you don't mind on the fly criticism. It can be helpful to weaker players but a lot of people can't handle it do to nature of constantly being told how to play. Its one thing to read a guide but to be told none-stop during a game "build quicker" "move your units" "you need more workers" etc...
