I'd love to see it as well. I'm always vaguely annoyed when things are there to look at, but you can't purchase it due to unspecified requirements. Dang it, tell me what I need to know!

Whose all down for just adding everyone to friends list and seeing if FoE is recruiting? FoR = lots and lots of free money and items every day!

My experience of large clans haven't been fun, usually because many people at the top won't stoop to playing with someone of lower rank, so I end up lonewolfing anyway.

I have no interest in being part of an uber guild. I've been in them before, and they generally treat games as business, rather than pleasure. I play for fun, not points/items/stats.BigBiker05 wrote:Whose all down for just adding everyone to friends list and seeing if FoE is recruiting? FoR = lots and lots of free money and items every day!

Re: APB All Points Bulletin
Well I actually dropped my tlvl from 13 to 7 just to play even games and I found it a lot more enjoyable. At t13 most people I played where is large or skilled clans (both get tons of free crap) and had lots of OCA and tec9 with lvl3 upgrades and it was just torture. Now I go up against guys even upgrades and been using nltl again. Its been so fun.
Also, FoE isn't an uber clan or a business. They're a multi-gaming guild and on ABP they just recruit players up the A... so they get all the most kills, most arrest etc awards. You'll never see them on most wins, best k/d ratio etc.

Re: APB All Points Bulletin
I think I might start playing this game quite a bit less. My driving delay is getting even more annoying. I finally landed on a district where I had 60-80 ping and I still had driving delay. So I guess its not ping based.
I also opened all the ports they said to open, nothing. And the company itself seems to be a let-down unless they are working their ass off behind the scenes. If you look at the support forums its like watching the general world of warcraft forums. A post can be made, hit refresh, and its already like 2 pages back. Now a lot of these posts are for the same reason but that just means that even more people are having lots of problems. Oh, and why would a MMO of no anti-hack in place? Punkbuster isn't even running at the moment.

Re: APB All Points Bulletin
The company itself is hugely disappointing - they act like we're a bunch of console kiddies that can be led around by the nose, instead of PC gamers who understand their boxes, understand troubleshooting, and expect competence. RTW doesn't communicate effectively, leaving us in the dark about what's being worked on, and when to expect it. They have almost no tech support (support literally took a 4 day holiday, 2 days after the game came out), and what little they do have basically copies and pastes "solutions" that have already been tried a thousand times and failed. It feels like they put almost zero forethought in to aspects of the game outside customization, and assumed all anybody would want to do was run around and deathmatch. They are very clearly trying to make money, selling adverts in game, selling points to buy things with in game, and dear god... putting a 20% tariff on all auction house transactions. WTF?
The game itself could be enjoyable, if the the programming wasn't so buggy, and the servers weren't terribad. Instead, everything happens a second after you tell it to, your bullets hit things nowhere near where your crosshair, when you do hit an enemy it doesn't register, your steering is either all-or-nothing, with horrible weight coefficients, and mission content is limited to about the same 10 things repeated over and over.
All that, and I could still enjoy it. It has potential, but I do not trust the company at all, right now. I've got around 39-40 free hours still, which I'll space out over the next month or two, to keep an eye on things. If things improve, I'll dive in. If they stay where they're at, I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

That's more of the "communication" thing, but it's all game balance stuff, no repairs. It's still lacking any indication that they're doing anything about the glaring bugs, absent tech support, or lack of in-game staff. As I said... I'll keep an eye of them for a bit.
