Yea talk about a heart breaker... Didn't see the number 1 team in the NHL loosing to an 8th seed team. Hard pill to swallow for the die hard Caps fans.

Ive still been following the playoffs closely. I was honestly hoping Montreal would beat Philly.

All four teams I gave a crap about were knocked out in the second round.

The only thing that's keeping me going is my intense hatred for Patty Kakes and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Not happy with the way the Hawks have been around the other team's net. A lot of calls missed by refs for crappy Hawks play on goalies.
Otherwise, I'm sitting on the fence on this one...

Cinderella hockey teams make the finals but haven't won.

(see '94 Vancouver, '96 Florida, '98 Washington, '99 Buffalo, '02 Carolina, '03 Anaheim, '04 Edmonton, '06 Calgary)

The Eastern Conference was the weaker conference all year. Check out the team goal differentials. Once Washington and Pittsburgh went out. The conference winner was and will be fodder for the West.)
