Well, that theory lasted a long time :P

Ya, freight's awsome.

I guess you need to think about what you do and don't like in a map, blue.

I always fall back to my old argument that there are at least two major viewpoints on maps, you might fall more into the linear map preference. A lot of the 'everyone' you're thinking of is probably just the very vocal group that prefers less linear maps (like me!)

I only said that about happycow because it used to be a TV4 staple and while a terrible map, we did have lots of fun on it. Like wacky races and such, it can be fun to play that kind of map, provided its a big group of people you know and that are talkative and having a good time.

Hapycow is one of my favorite maps... Ever. Could someone also try to make knightknoll into KOTH?

and that's why freight is awesome.

It's got this nice non-confusing linear set up with flanking routes set up on the sides and it's balanced for every class. It's like the perfect map...

I love freight.

I'm actually pretty bored by Freight now, I don't really like the final build of it.

But Yukon is not a custom map anymore!

I also did prefer the final RC more than the official version of Yukon, but I haven't played it enough to find out if it's actually better, I just thought the raised middle was cool.

As for freight, I prefer the Final, it's makes for a better game when working on the final points.

Straying off subject, the RC of Indulge needs to go, the way the spawns move up makes it much too difficult to take the middle if you lose it.

Alright, so it looks like a thumbs down on Busytown for now. I'll put together a list of other old maps to see if any can come back.

Also, it looks like Indulge isn't doing very well. Any objections to removing it?

Glacier has updated to RC3 with the following changes:
- Added detail rooms at both spawns
- Changed the ground texture back to the old one with the mud
- Reduced the fog density
- Added water and ice chunks at A
- Fixed a few minor aesthetical glitches

If we're going to remove cp_Indulge, we should really add in cp_waste or cp_folllower.... speaking of which why did we remove those 2 maps anyways?

cp_waste was replaced with pl_waste due to many requests to do so, but neither seem to get good feedback. cp_follower was removed due to general lack of popularity.

Anyway, here are some old maps to look at. I included links for screenshots. I'd like to know your opinions on these maps:
