I have a question about <TVB>'s recruitment. Are you more likely to get chosen for <TVB> if you support the ville? You seem to have jumped on aez when he started supporting. I also have been wondering, what does -AGC- mean? And, last, what do you mean most of the villuns are guilded? I'd say about a quarter of the active forum members aren't guilded.

Well, if a quarter aren't guilded then three quarters are guilded. And three quarters is most.

I can't speak for TVB (I'm probably not even allowed to officially speak for TVR) but for TVR being a supporter helps but it's not a requirement. For example Cpt.Winky isn't a supporter yet he's still TVR. TVR just mainly looks for well rounded players who play on Ville servers, are decently active on the forums, support theVille in anyway possible, and are overall a pleasure to have around, not to mention having the ability to goof off in the appropriate situations (for TVR at least).
-AGC- is just some random tag a few of us have thrown on, if anything it's just to mock how many random tags people use.

Haha, occasionally I'll see people with a longer string of tags than their name.

TVB has a small team that gets together and decides if we deem someone worthy for recruitment, we dont have a set requirement per se...but we have a team that decides based on all of our input and deliberation
The line for me accepting bribes is forming now if you would like to get in it...my consideration for your name will be directly proportional to the awesomitude of your bribe
and I can assure you supporter...while nice and all is not that major of a factor...and we didnt "Jump" on Aez when he became supporter

Like other's have said, being a supporter helps but is not at all a main factor in being invited into a guild. Back when I first started playing here I was invited into USV and I was not a supporter. The main thing is personality and over all villunness.
TVB had it's eye on Aez for a little while as he and Abiscuit have known each other for awhile. He came highly recommended from abiscuit. I can assure you that we don't go "Hey so and so became a supporter, let's invite him now!"

.....
Can I keep him? (I'll feed him and take him for walks and everything!)
Also as clarification, abiscuit and I have known each other for three years. Also, many of the people I got to know in my early Ville days were TVB (and eVa, but that's unrelated). And me buying supporter-ship was tied to another event - the Ville Circus Nights. I'd been meaning to donate for a while, but that finally gave me the impetus to dig up my debit card.

Oh, and one key thing that new recruits need is to be able to fail stack. Aez performed very well on his l4d trial run with the rest of TVB.

Exactly, Aez shamed the rest of us with his utter fail play and we had little choice but to admit him directly lest we lose out corner on the fail market. Everyone not in TVB should regard their non-membership as a testament to their at least minimal competence. I can't speak for other guilds, but I can guarantee you none of them tops TVB in fail (or goats).
