Found the account hijacker (sort of)
Re: Found the account hijacker (sort of)
If Steam doesn't decide to do anything with it (hell, it's gift wrapped for them), we'll forward it to the kid's local police department. Since he's a kid, there's probably not a whole lot they will do to him. But who knows, they might have already had problems with him, and this might be the last straw.
As far as deuce getting into trouble for posting any of the information he possesses, the act in and of itself is not a crime. After all, this information was all publicly posted by the numbnuts, so he has no expectation of privacy. The only way deuce (or anyone else) could get into trouble is if he said "go to this kid's house and hurt him" or to commit some other crime.
**Let it be clear, hurting people and committing other crimes is bad. No one is suggesting that. Crimes are bad. Nnnno!**

Yes he did.
I have to say during my hunt for this guy over the last couple of days I was shocked to see how many web sites are our there selling stolen Steam accounts and also how many sites telling people how to setup phishing sites like this kid did. It is scary how easy it is to do.
Also most of the losers buying these stolen accounts are people that have been banned for cheating and not ones that are trying to save a few buck by buying accounts for 8 bucks.

Actually even though you are Canadian the Suspect is a US citizen and he has causes a Terrorist act by stealing your account so you could notify the FBI also. but notify the RCMP too.
BTW each theft is a Count and say each theft was worth $100.00 and he steals 5 account then it $500.00 of theft that is a Grand theft Felony as grand theft was changed to $500.00. We already KNow he has stolen numerus accounts so its even worse for him and they will try him as an adult.
He is Still going to see Bubba
Ok, I think we need to insert some reason and the law.
Remember ZRDeuce, anything you say can and will be against you in a court of law, including this thread and any other online conversations you've had about the suspect.
I recommend that you either talk to an attorney about this or contact law enforcement before disclosing anymore information. None of us hear can play cops (there might be a few, but they won't let us know) and ditto with internet lawyer.
I recommend that you stop talking to us and start talking to an attorney or the police, in this case the RCMP. The FBI won't be able to help at all in this case for you because you are a canadian citizen and I recommend you contact the RCMP in your provincial district.
This, with the addition of reporting it to Steam.

The odds of personally knowing this person with the large populations of the United States and Canada are extremely slim. I think we should keep this information on a very need-to-know basis for the time being. If this goes legal, we wanna make sure our butts are nice and covered.
That includes you, KRG.
