ok. whenever i upgrade to the 178.13 driver version, that is the latest one yet, i get obscured doors on the choose team option and many doors in game appear to have warped sectons on them

for example, in the middle of the door, instead of it being white, it will appear seethru.


I downgraded again so i could play, however this also happens on FEAR and AOE III.

does anyone else get this problem?

I have a 7600 GS on my old computer, which runs Win2K, and was always being told by games that my drivers were out of date. Updating the drivers, however, inevitably broke things. I played from day of release until the start of last month on rolled-back drivers, and the only thing broken was the message that kept telling me I should update for better performance

Thr girlfriend bought a 7600 and had constant problems with it. She'd try to play CSS, but if she had watched any sort of video before playing, it wouldnt load properly. We did some google searching and found out that there is a common problem with the 7600 line. We used Omega drivers and that sort of fixed it, but not entirely.

Recommendation? Buy a nice, cheap new 9200 or something.

Buy a 9600GT for $85, excellent card that completely smashes a 7600GT.

Save up some money from your job and buy a new vidya card.

The 4830 is pretty darn good.
