Spectator exploit

Aloha,

I was looking over the server rules again, and have a question with rule 8. Anyone found cheating, hacking or exploiting, will be banned Back on the two servers I admined for, the spec exploit was just that...an exploit, we warned people once then kicked/banned them if it kept up. I've noticed it goes on more then a few times on TV3...usually some league player in disguise(I look them up as they join =P the old admin in me).

So my question I guess is...is this an exploit I should be making note of players names and demos and forwarding on to admins? I mean I don't mind, but if it's not something you folks are not policing then I won't bother with it. I mean sometimes it comes in handy(like when sarge does a suicide nade right at the cap out and you get that long respawn).

Heya Lemm,

What you are talking about we refer to more of spec jumping and it is not tolerated.. I have not seen much of a problem with this on our servers in awile though.. If you see someone just PM an admin and we will come take care of it. 1.3 server has been running very smooth though, and I havent seen that many problematic players on as in the past. The exploit in the rule is exploiting the map. Example - using a zook under the bridge in Saints to get people off the cap.. I havent seen anyone use this in awile though.. If you find problem players Lemm just PM an admin or find us on steam and we will come help. Also you can send us demo's if you like.

edit - boosting players on boxes and so forth is exploiting as well..

Heh i thought the same thing when DB said "no boosting" but if they say no boosting...no boosting it is for me =P
