8800 gts 320 EoL

Nvidia is killing off the 8800 gts 320 to make way for its newer chips.

Arghh, I was thinking of buying a 8800GTS 320mb.

Is this a rumor like the many other new nVidia card rumors?

When are these comming?

Would the EVGA step up program still be eligible for a discontinued card?

I'll auctually probably get this card, because my system can only handle a single slotted card, and this is perfect. Now with portal and TF2 being so hard on my system, it will be great and much cheaper then having a full system overhaul.

Whoa.. Hold on there. Before you go spend the money, check out this write up on the GeForce 8800GT, which is actually faster than the GeForce 8800 GTS AND the GeForce 8800 GTX!, for about half the price of the GTX.

PCMag gave it a rare 5 star rating, will run DirectX 10 code, etc.

I'm a thinkin' I'ma gonna get one of them-there do-hickys...

Just came today! Installed it a while ago and it DESTROYS games :D

300FPS in CSS ftw!

Ben i went and bought the 8600 GTS SLI and i have had no problems and great fps, so with the 8800 you should be good
