Temporary Aquaville Map
Howdy, all. Attached here is a map I generated with an online seed mapper (with Stevo's permission), and have added tags for known locations to it. This is nowhere near as detailed as the mapping programs we previously had, but hopefully it helps give folks an idea of what the world around us looks like. Be advised, it does show all areas, explored or not, but it's better than nothing.
The map extends out to around 3000 meters in each direction from spawn.

Stevo has now generated a map based on the previous version of Minecraft, which had the same general seed pattern. The player positions are updated, but the map itself doesn't reflect any changes made (such as player construction) or new 1.13 biomes/creations (sea biomes, shipwrecks, etc).

You bet
@m - Yeah, we wanted to strike a balance between showing enough to be useful, and showing so much that it ruined exploration for people. Didn't want the latter, so limited it to 3k in each direction

Based on Inner's suggestion, I generated this map based on the previous version of Minecraft. The player positions are updated but the map itself doesn't reflect any changes made.

Re: Temporary Aquaville Map
Looks like good progress is being made on the 1.13 support for MapCrafter. Looks like it's mostly just tweaks that are still needed. Someone generated a map from 1.13 and was basically successful, but water was rendered as wood logs, and grass as lapis lazuli.
Here's a link to the issue:

Worth noting that it's Stevo that initially created the issue.

Thanks for that link B&B, indeed it does sound promising. I am very proud of Stevo for opening that can of worms!

Re: Temporary Aquaville Map
The map software is pretty close to fully functioning. I replaced the temporary map with one generated by the latest build.
