Any one else going to pick this one up? Comes out May 9th. Can't say I've played much of the grand strategy genre but I like what I've seen gameplay wise so far.

Re: Stellaris
I've been a huge fan of most of the Grand Strategy Paradox games.
I will pick this one up but can't say that i'm going to do it now. I usually wait for them to go on sale when a new DLC comes out for two reasons:
1. They have a HORRIBLE track record of having playable games on initial release of a game or DLC; it's a 50-50 shot best case. It takes weeks even months for them to fix irritating or game breaking bugs sometimes. If you wait until the next DLC and purchase the previously released versions then usually you don't get these problems.
2. It's cheaper, i'm a fan of their games but they charge a lot for mostly script expansion in their games. If you purchase the cosmetic enhancements then the life of the game will easily run you into the 200+ dollars range. Too much.

I've enjoyed just about every pdox release, I suspect I'll enjoy this as well. I will be holding off on a purchase though, for reasons similar to OmgOhnoes mentioned. First sale, though, I may be tempted.

Re: Stellaris
I've only put around 10 hours into CK2, but this was way easier to get into and feels more like Civ then CK2.
