Archie Comics Disappointment

Normally, a story as odd and unusual as this I leave for my Twitter, but I'm sure all of us have some memories of these comics.

Long story short, Archie Andrews is apparently proposing to Veronica in the comic being released today (Apparently a six part series too where he gets married too). Honestly, I don't know what to say about this, aren't they all supposed to still be in high school? Who gets married before they graduate anyways? It all seems very odd...

Also, he totally should have picked Betty anyways. End o' discussion. :P

I remember reading this in the news a few weeks ago. Apparently it's got alot of fan's backs up.

Also, apparently they've been allowing some passage of time over the... how many... 60? years that the comic has been running. I think they're in collage now, or something.

Probably just a publicity stunt to get the comic back in the spotlight. I mean, so far it's done pretty well, earned media coverage... but it's a 6-parter. That doesn't necessarily mean that it will lead to the ending you'd expect. Something about plot twists being all the rage these days...
