Not a bleed or a jarate effect. An infection The longer you go unhealed by a medic, the more detrimental. It could either slow you down, make it harder to aim, or do exponentially increasing damage over time, a combination, or nothing. A 25% chance of each and each one is rolled for independently of one another.

in that instance " like" wasn't just a place holder. it was meant to mean that the infection would be similar to the jarate or bleed effect. it would be a DOT ( like bleed) and possibly even cause extra damage ( like a jarate) if it could spread to other people ( like an infection) then even better.

The medic infection was soooo funny!

Especially when the infected player would run into his spawn All you would hear is that.... uuuuuugggghhh.... aaa.. sound while they run into other players and spread the infection to their teammates. lol

The way things are going, I think it's only a matter of time before the medic can infect people... Grenades wouldn't surprise me either.

I have no idea who I first "met" at The Ville but I do remember having such a good time playing DOD 1.3 on The Ville server that I decided to stay, that's the game that I came to The Ville with. Those were the best days, I think nearly every Villun played DOD1.3. Oxo & pinkboots, Frosty1, Nuckin, Beeron, Replica, JD, loka, Ellroy, just to name a few off the top of my head, though there were many more DOD1.3 regulars.

I loved playing on The Ville servers with everyone so I stuck around!

I've long since forgotten which server I started playing on, or whether or not I was still known as Blaze Fox. I just know that back in my early early days i poke and prodded for Frau to finally join, sometimes literally.

I think you had another name back in when you first joined us. I seem to recall you being on Badlands with us, early on, which probably puts it on TV7, though possibly TV1.

Well, all i remember is browsing the abysmally long list of servers in-game, and then saw TheVille. I was curious enough. It may have been badlands that I played on. But back when i was looking for a community to play some games with, I checked out the website first before playing a bit more.

Wow, I can barely remember back in the old DoD1.3 days... Frosty was a definite... papaweasy, squirrel...
Sorry if I missed anyone, my memory is bad for some reason.

I had almost completely forgotten about the likes of Frosty of Papaweasy. They were fun to play with.

I kinda remember it as a whole, not single people really.

p.s. I have been BEER.. the one and the same since cs 1.6, and dod 1.3. At the time it bugged me that BEERON had a similar name. haha.
