ok, i just saw it and that movie was freakin awesome!! i cant' wait to see it again! except for a few small nostalgic details which you guys already mentioned(megatron in gun form, prime saying "do the barrel roll") I left the theater completely fulfilled. i can honestly say it lived up to all the hype and maybe then some. and yes, they definitely(SPOILER:dont read on if you havent seen it)left it wide open for a second one...not only did Prime openly invite the rest of the autobots to earth, but they show starscream leaving at the end. i dont wanna wait until 2009!!

as for 1-18-08(aka "Cloverfield"?), that trailer was just plain insane! great marketing too, because i know i sure as heck wanna see more. its an interesting assortment of writers & producers...i managed to get a still shot of the credits from one of those links posted.

Bryan Burk-producer of Lost & Alias
Drew Goddard- producer of Lost & Alias; writer of Lost, Alias, Angel & Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Matt Reeves-relatively no name director, but one of JJ Abrams wirters for Felicity back in the 90's

also, found out that this site is somehow involved with the film, requires you to solve a few puzzles to access it though.

when you get passed the first part, check the stars!

Took my wife this time, she liked it

SAw it on the 4th and it really was a good movie. Fight scene at end may be a bit long but still an excellent movie. I'll watch it again.
