Ok, the new rocket launcher is just flipn scary... good players are going to dominate with it. The regular rocket already does a poop load of damage on direct hits, now even more, and mini crits if you're in the air? And its faster?

I'm really scared, I think its gonna be too powerful for good player.

The Demoman has gained quite a bit of ground. Perhaps he's not out of the running just yet.

The Direct Hit does sound interesting, and in the right hands could be quite deadly.

You might be underestimating the power of splash damage. . . but, yes, it will probably be quite deadly.
I wonder if, with lower splash damage if it will knock people up in the air as much. . . I'll be interested if it's a lot harder to reflect than regular rockets. . .

Anybody else notice it's "Captain Dan's Army Surplus Soup" haha.

Also, this could be deadly in the hands of the more accurate players.

Yes..... YES!!!!

IT'S PERFECT!!

I may need time to get used to it but when I do!

I got used to demoman direct nade hits, I'll get used to using this for direct hits  . Although I must say this has a weakness that might be unforsee, you'll be weaker against scouts (even harder to hit now) and pyros (try using splash damage to get around the airblast now) even if your a sharpshooter.

I don't think so, we'll will simply have to adjust our timing a bit more depending on which launcher the opponent is holding.

I wonder if soldiers will be able to rocket jump with the reduced splash damage?

That's an interesting point. The Demoman's unlock removes his jump ability, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Soldier lose his as well.
