cool. this adds a new tangent on my quest for a card that will keep me happy. I just hate to buy a high dollar item, then afterwords regret that i didn't spend a few dollars more and get a better quality item.


i haven't even looked at the 260's. But I will now.

Yeah, the 260's are about $400 a pop, and the 280's are about $650 each. For comparison, the 9800gx2's are about $450 - around the same as an 8800Ultra.

whats with you guys and ALWAYS having the best technology?


you ever heard of "you dun know wat u got till its gone?"

translated, in other words it means be happy with a little less, coz some dont have even that much.

Its like having a fancy sports car. You don't really need it but its really awesome to have.

yeah... its kinda like we all have a car... except we have all moded ours different ways to they all

8800 Ultra is still $520 from newegg, 9800 GX2s are anywhere from $450 to $600 or so
