Hey there are always Simulator Roms. I used to play a lot of DOS games, I never had a favorite though. But I use Roms now to play a couple of different games.

Here ya go! Descent 1 and 2, modified to work on modern systems, legal, and DRM free.

GOG is the saviour for old games.

I used to love any game by the developer Bullfrog before EA bought them out.

The scary thing is that I still have them all on 3.5" floppy somewhere

Bullfrog was an incredibly consistent developer. I believe Syndicate Wars was where they first started sucking

X-Wing, TIE Fighter, pretty much anything from LucasArts around that time.

Thanks! I'll have to pick it up soon and relive the old days (though hopefully without the tendency to constantly get lost and die that I had back then :P).
