YES! They are fixing infinite mines.

Not so sure of the IRNV and spec ops nerfs. Spec ops was a great counter to irnv.
Also, it will once again be possible to reduce the number of players required to start a round to 1 both in ranked and unranked mode. We changed it back after getting a lot of negative feedback from both individuals and the RSP companies.

Fixed so AT mines only live for 20 seconds after a player dies to prevent infinite mines. (We want to make a different fix in the future, it’s in JIRA).

Crimson! "You can now reassign cycle weapons" hah i think that is exactly what you've been wanting.

"Reduced the damage done to Armored Vehicles and Infantry from AA guns."
hopefully that makes Canals a bit less ridiculous for the russians.


"Slightly decreased the accuracy for all weapons on fully automatic, burst fire is now preferable at mid to long range"
This is a pretty major change. It indirectly buffs the G3(the best single fire weapon in the game imo) which i love.


"Increased the close range damage of 4.6x30mm and 5.7x28mm bullets."
More love for PDWs :)


"Tweaked the AN94 so its burst fire better conveys the real world advantage offered by this weapon."
"Added Single Shot to the AN94 as an available fire mode."
This is really going to make the AN94 a favorite with full auto being less effective at longer ranges.

Overall, this patch looks like it'll respond to a lot of the legit complaints people have had about this game. I'm looking forward to the 2GB download.

Looks like a good patch. No change to the CITV station makes me sad. Helicopters being more vulnerable to shoulder launched SAMs is...scary.

IRNV nerf makes me happy. The people who have been relying on it exclusively from launch are so screwed now.

If it is the same IRNV tweak in the PS3 patch, then it is barely nerf. Hopefully they tweak it more from that patch.

i saw it say jets...not helos are more vulnerable

I think he is referring to the flare timer increase.

the flare timer only applies to the gunner as well...if you are running alternate flares should be a non factor

Unless you get three consecutive locks without maneuvering out of range, then you deserve to be shot down.

flares should take care of more than one missile...they last a good couple of seconds...the main thing though I am happy about is reduced stealth...maybe i can actually get a stinger launched at a jet before it moves out of lock range

I suddenly almost have all the co-op weapons unlocked...which is weird, becaus I was about 80% to the KH2002 last time I checked..

I'm content though, because I got the MP7 and M93.
