All,

I would like to claim the Monument at -300, ~, -250 to convert to a community grinder.

Ladeee and I would like to convert it to a Grinder to be used by the community, so Please don't steal the sponges. I use them to clear the monument.

It will take some time to complete, but after doing so, it will make about 4 chests full per hour, provided that no-one else is within 128 blocks of the center of the Monument peak.

If anybody is interested in the ice/permafrost, I located a frozen ocean just north of myself in the NW jungle. Numerous large icebergs floating around up there (should be visible on the map).

If you like, I can help you develop it in a direction that allows for folks to be anywhere in its vicinity and still be effective - I've built a couple of those in the past. Definitely takes some additional effort to core out the entire surrounding ocean and build a caisson, but given that this monument is so close to spawn, it might help with the distancing (128 meters reaches the coast of the spawn area).

JD - I've got the upper portion of the Kelp Farm working No levers to throw or anything - it should just automatically harvest any time the kelp grows - savings on noise, big time! Kelp definitely grows much more slowly than reported elsewhere for whatever reason, but the system is tested and working now.

I haven't set up the bottom part with the smokers, because I don't know anything about that stuff, but I placed all the parts that I didn't need in the chest by the kelp rig.
