Villagers

If anyone needs villagers for anything, there are some at my place. Please take them from near the barracks in town though, and NOT from the golem grinder up the hill. There are some missing from there, and its a bit annoying to replace them. Also, please leave at least two in town, so they can repopulate.

Stupid question, can a villager breeding program be created at spawn, will that work or does there need to be a village present?

They need some sort of 'village', but that just means there has to be doors. One side of the doors needs to be inside, and the other needs to be outside - then they will breed according to how many doors there are.
Currently, I am breeding more at my village, and I think I am going to have a little lava 'disposal' to get rid of some if I have too many of the same profession - that way, there will be more chances to get farmers, or whomever we need.
