TV5 Reset and destruction day schedule

Good day Villuns, we have a soft schedule for what will be happening on TV5.


Monday September 1 - Server Snapshot taken, this will be the file you can download for future play and reference.
Tuesday September 2 - The expected day that Mojang said they would release 1.8. (Lets see if it happens on time, and if its stable or not)
Tuesday September 2 - TV5 is updated to 1.8 (Stevo will determine when this will happen)
Tuesday September 2 - The current world is moved to a separate server with creative mode to prepare for destruction day
Tuesday September 2 @ 9pm CST - Server Reset
Sunday September 7 @ 9pm CST - Destruction day. Server: 66.240.208.143


More information will follow as time progresses.

Also for destruction day, does 8PM Ville time sound reasonable? Thats 9PM on the east coast and 6 PM on the west coast.

I'm heading out of town for the week, I'm bummed that I'll miss the TNT day. That's always fun! (short-lived at times, but fun while it lasts)

The server is updated. It looks like things are on schedule.

I wouldn't be able to make the proposed destruction time, as it's directly on top of the second Ville FFL league draft, but that's fine. Far more important to wrap things up and get the new server available than for me to be there! I don't really have too many large visible things to blow up anyway - I stayed in the realm of low-rise and subterranean structures this time around.

Wednesday is the worst possible day for me - I have classes from 11 AM to 9 PM. I'd like to participate if it can be pushed to Saturday or something though.

I could probably be convinced. I'll play with Shadowplay to see if I can get that working, or if I'll need to pull in a real recording tool for the job.

I like that idea! Allows the reset to happen pronto and get the new world up and going, and allows the destruction day to be held at a time allowing for high attendance. Huzzah!
