We have a sand temple at 5000, 5000 or there abouts :)

Just the walk through the Nether takes forever, I cant imagine what a surface rail would be like.

Basically I have three phases;
1. Built
2. Planned
3. "Considering"

The last category is basically "Eventually, maybe", so for the really far flung location I'll just put it in the plans and get around to it at some point, maybe. :P

Here's a new updated plan using the latest server map. The metro map is coming soon. (Click for full size)

I need to finish building epic sax guy, now that I have been reminded to. It is not a significant monument by any means, but having a stop near me cuts down on travel a bit for me :D

You're still working on that? Well I'm glad the rail will help. :)

When I get home from work I'll probably update the map again to add a couple stops and see if I missed the locations given in the last few posts. If anyone has issue with the routing I'm using or would like to request a station at their build, please let me know ASAP. I can modify an existing line but it's much easier to modify a plan before it's built. That's actually why the blue line north of spawn €own

We should convice you to move him to the desert where he wont be covered with snow. Of course that means the snow blocks would melt in him so they would have to go to white wool or to iron blocks.

If you wish to move him I will be glad to help.

Snow blocks don't melt, as far as I'm aware. The snow that falls onto the ground melts and ice blocks melt, but I'm fairly sure snow blocks will stick around indefinitely.

This is true. I remember when I made my Ghastface cathedral on the last map, many of the blocks that made the face were snow, and they were part of a wall that held back lava.

Ok I've numbered every known and unclaimed (s far as I know) village on the server and located areas of interest that I can see. Many of these locations are unknown to me, and I've assigned a letter to each of them. If you happen to know who's built any of them are, please let me know. Thanks!

Village 4 is known as New Creepmore. I've been doing some development in that area and have a couple of houses out there. I'm not certain if I want a rail line there, but we can discuss it further later. It'll need to be underground within a fairly large radius of the village as I'm trying hard to preserve the area as much as possible.

Your marking for XP Farm Cassandra is inaccurate. I'm not sure what's actually located at the spot you've marked, but Cassandra is deep underground about 100 blocks NW of Sun Mountain, easily accessible via Nether from my place.

We'll need to talk when you decide to start doing the new green line near Sun Mountain as I have some specific plans both above and below ground in the area. I'd prefer for the rail to be as much underground as possible there. Same for the blue line expansion over the southern ocean - can it run under or along the sea floor?

Glad to see you back to work on this! Don't drive yourself nuts this time! :P

The blue line is now extended to Taco's Herobrine Republic. Next is reconnecting it back to Ponyville after that.

The development of the CalcRail will be delayed as I'm currently working on mushroom city. I plan to at least have the roads and lots built beforee I resume work on it. There is a donation chest at thew Spawntown station if anyone had extra iron or rails they'd like to donate to the project in the meantime. Any help is appeciated.

The people who have contributed iron and other resources already have been a great help, and I thank you all. :)
