So, I've started to add some color to the Mr. T monument on our castle:

Yes, that's real gold for his jewelry. If anyone doesn't have a use for their gold, I'd gladly accept a donation. His gold chains are going to kill me.

Also, if anyone has any extra ink sacs or black wool, I'd put them to good use as well.

Here's what I've been up to:

Yes, that's all sandstone. Yes, they go to the build limit. 2 silos 33 meters in diameter that go down to about level 18 or so (well, one does). This is my mob grinder. Only one silo is operational at the moment, the other still needs to be dug down and more spawning floors need to be built. (click an image to view full)

My collection room, bedrock starts one level below the floor. It's going to be part of my creeper temple. I'd kinda like to build those 6 creeper statues out of gold blocks, but that would require 132 blocks. A project for a later time, if ever.


As you might have guessed, the mob grinder drops come out of the creeper's mouth. There are still a few unlit caverns within the loaded chunks, so as mobs spawn in them the item rate of the spawner drops off. This was at its peak. Keep in mind, only one silo is operational at this point. I'm not going to calculate items/hour until both silos are complete.


I built the silos in a pretty blank area as far as caves go, but there's still a few within loading distance. I was lighting up one of these nearby caverns and came across this party. No wonder why my grinder slows down over time. There were also 2 dungeons in this cavern.

As you can tell from all the arrows, this was a hazardous screenshot to take.
