My sound and mic just refuses to work.
I tried playing with the knobs on my sound panel so many times I think I broke it.
I also tried restarting my computer, several times, and still nothing.
I tried taking everything out and plugging it back in.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Sound and Mic problems
Have you got it fixed yet?
if not try doing a reinstall in the: Control Panel-administrative tools-Computer management- device manager-sound video and game controllers
Find your device and uninstall it then reinstall it but do this only after you make sure that:
1 your speakers and or Mic actually work.
2 your speakers and or Mic are plugged in and in the correct jack/port
3 If speakers or Mic require external Power that it is on and works
4 the sound card is seated correctly and in the proper slot in the PC
5 and that none of these Items has any Physical damage
still your sound card could be bad and you may have to replace it if its built in then you will just add a new one PC will avoid the built in one with and Audio card installed.
Good Luck hope this helps
