Upgrade options

Post by paranoidandroid64 » Fri Jun 20, 2008 3:13 pm

SO, I am slowly upgrading my system. (use it for a lot of recording and Pro Sound use) it is also my TF2 compy.

I am running WIN xp on a dual core AMD 6000+ (3GHz), an ASUS M2N-Sli Deluxe Mobo. and a EN8600 Graphic Card. with more memory than my system can see. (NewEgg has Enjoyed my patronage the last year)

So now I am looking at operating systems. (hope I am not beating a dead horse here)

Has Vista 64 stabalized enough to jump on it? OR would I be able to still play TF2 if I install Linux/ lin 64??

I am thinking of keeping 2 operating systems on different drives...

thoughts?

You can run TF2 no prob on Vista 64-bit, i did for a short while, I havent messed with it since the new service pack so It might be fun to try.

I may be reinstalling it soon to try it out so if I do before you buy, I will certainly let you know.
