Well, after losing my power supply and then having the 12v plug melt to the mother board, I was forced to finally upgrade my computer. Here is what I got (on my $550 budget)
MSI P6N Diamond LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 2.6GHz
EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX ATX12V V2.2 550W Power Supply
Eventually I am going to get a new case, second 8800 and more memory

Ya know, i was bout to tell you not to get that 8800 GTS.... and then ofc i had to look around for benchmarks and whatnot and compare prices.... that 320MB G80 8800GTS is a better deal than a HD3870 and SLI with these 8800s? better than an 8800 Ultra. And guess what? I saw 8800 Ultras at newegg for $520.... these in sli? <$300
So... it looks mighty fine George, i think you'll like it.
