HL2 error message

Post by Hooper-X » Mon Jul 02, 2007 1:48 pm

Whenever i try to get in to source it gives me a message saying i should update my driver (Geforce 6600 GT) and when i click continue anyway i get a HL2 error message. So im assuming it has something to do with the driver. Now when i try to update my driver and get the instalation wizard going i get another message saying that the file im going to install has not been tested for the windows XP logo and that i shouldn't download the file.

So how can i update my driver so that i may once again play my source

Thanks
Hoops

I got that error and I hit the "continue anyway", dods works fine. At first I tried updateding my drivers, but that didnt help at all. Still got the same steam error...

If you want to update your drivers, dont worry about the windows signature thingy. If its a legit driver from nvidia or something, let it install it.
